Now in its second year, Threads is a student-led celebration of ancestry, identity, and community. More than a fashion show, it’s a space for cultural exchange, where stories are shared through dress, movement, and music. These portraits capture students wearing garments that carry the weight of history and the joy of self-expression. In a world that often pressures us to conform, Threads encourages us to take up space, proudly, beautifully, and together. It reminds us that cultural competence begins not just in knowledge, but in witnessing and honouring each other’s lived experiences.
